The search for meaning is disease
It is based on a false premise, that you are incomplete and need to find something to become whole. If you accept that there is no inherent meaning, the mind has no job. It panics. To avoid this horrific silence, you create ideologies and debates about nonsense to keep this psychological engine running. You do not want a solution. You want the endless hunt. Chasing the perfect something or ideological purity gives you a false sense of purpose. If you stopped, you would have to sit in silence with your own mortality. The pursuit itself generates the anxiety it claims to solve. It is a closed, self-feeding loop.
Ceaseless energy sucking search for a better life, lifestyle. Hilarious debates about good company, service, law, diet, or even such bullshit as text editors or correct use of some software as AI. Labeling and judging others based on their current search. Turn off the screen for a week. You miss nothing.
There is no holy grail. The moment you stop searching, the artificial conflict collapses. What remains is just biological existence. The disease is the insistence that there must be a cure.
