The fake party
Look at the sheer absurdity of it. A man sits in a chair and shouts because some millionaire kicked or threw a ball. Another waits for a multi-billion corporation to tell him what his phone will do next year.
Do people realize it is not real? That it is just business? Simulating missing belonging with a logo on a machine or a t-shirt is a fake party. There is no tribe, just your wallet and attention. You buy the excitement. You pay to feel part of a pack that does not know you exist.
This theater is annoying to observe.
